Ordering Food
Good Stuff Products. As this is an all organic product and to insure freshness, we do not stock large quantities. However, we do order weekly. Good Stuff is located fairly close to us and we generally receive our shipment quickly, in 2-3 days, after ordering. Good Stuff only makes their foods in small batches and orders ingredients frequently, due to the organic nature of their foods and again to insure freshness. Note that you may experience a delay in receiving Good Stuff foods. If you need GS foods quickly, please place your order separately and we will have your order shipped directly to you from Good Stuff.
Harrison's Products. We stock according to our order averages. The vast majority of our customers order High Potency and Lifetime Maintenance and/or Pepper Coarse Grind, and we almost always have those in stock. We do not routinely stock the Fine or Xtra Fine grind pellets, as these just don't sell with any regularity. We do, however order frequently and add these to our order, as necessary. Again, if you need your food quickly, we can have it drop shipped directly to you.
Bulk Foods. Bags or containers larger than 5# are Drop Shipped directly to you. This not only saves you money, but also insures that your food is fresh and has not been sitting in our warehouse for months on end.
There is a small fee for Drop Shipping and you pay the exact UPS or USPS shipping charge, charged by the manufacturer or distributor, but this still equals a savings in shipping charges.
Other Foods. We stock reasonable quantities of other foods such as Beak Appetit and Crazy Corn. However, we do not stock unlimited supplies, again to insure freshness. Therefore, if you are unable to order a certain item because we are out of stock, you can check back in a week or so, and will probably find that the item is back in stock. Alternately, you can email us and we can arrange to have the item(s) drop shipped to you. We do not routinely carry, but do have access to many other foods - Golden Feast, Roudybush, Scenic, Volkman's, etc. If you are interested in any item that you do not find in our store, please contact us and we will be happy to get it for you.
Ordering Policy
We accept orders via our secure online ordering, as well as by fax, mail, and telephone. Credit Card orders are accepted only by phone, fax or our secure online ordering system.
Please, for your protection, do not email credit card information. All orders are processed in the order they are received.
We offer you fully automated secure online ordering for your shopping convenience. Simply browse our online catalog and enter your quantity and click on the “Add to Cart” button to add items to your order.
Once your order has been placed, an email confirmation will be sent to you upon credit card approval. Please save this confirmation for your records. Orders should be received in approx. 7 to 15 business days*. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. *Please Note: Although we strive to get your package to you in a timely manner, please always allow for extra time in receiving your package during peak holiday or promotional periods.
Avian Antics Bird Toys & Supplies uses "Real-time Credit Card Processing. When you click to submit your order, your credit card is automatically charged. As a courtesy to you, we do not have access to your credit card information - this is for your protection.
In the event your order is FLAGGED, you may be required to make additional arrangements with us. If your order has a separate shipping and billing address for your credit card, we may require you to fax or mail us a photocopy of your drivers license, signature and credit card, this is for your protection as well as ours.
Fraudulent Order Security: Avian Antics Bird Toys & Supplies has antifraud safeguards in place and will pursue prosecution for all fraudulent orders.
Avian Antics Bird Toys & Supplies logs IP strings on all orders - any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law!
Cancellations
Orders that were paid via Credit Card and are cancelled within 24 hours will be charged a 5% Credit Card Processing Fee.
Orders cancelled after 24 hours will be charged a 15% restocking fee, regardless of method of payment.

Money Orders, Bank Checks. Personal Checks (USA only). Sorry no COD’s. Checks and Money Orders must clear prior to shipping.
RETURNED CHECKS: There is a $35 fee for all returned checks, plus any charges levied by our financial institution.
Product Pricing does not include shipping charges. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Michigan residents: 6% sales tax applicable.
Shipping
Domestic: We ship most packages via USPS. Heavy or Large Bulky packages will ship via UPS. You will receive an automated email confirmation of shipping which will include tracking information.
International: International shipments are via USPS International First Class or Priority Mail. Packages shipped internationally via First Class Mail cannot be insured, nor can they be tracked. Thus we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages. International customers will receive an automated email confirmation of shipping, which will include tracking information, if the package is shipping via Priority Mail. For packages shipped First Class, you will receive an email from me, letting you know that I have shipped your package.
Most packages ship within one to three days, however, during holidays, promotions, sales, etc. shipping times can be considerably longer. During these time we will contact you via email with an anticipated ship date. Please keep in mind that Avian Antics is owner operated and we have no employees. For the most part Avian Antics is a one-person operation, with occasional assistance from my husband. *I* am the Web guy, customer service, toy maker, order taker, stock clerk, accountant......
Return Policy
Avian Antics has a no return policy. To protect the health and safety of your birds and ours, we do not recycle merchandise. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us immediately and we will do everything possible to make it right. Please make sure you read product descriptions carefully and choose the appropriate sized item for your bird. If you have any questions, please contact us before you place your order. We cannot be responsible for items you purchase that are not the correct size for your bird.
Retail Sales - Local Customers
We operate an Online Store only. We do not have a brick and morter store or a retail show room. Our workshop and warehouse are smoke, pet and visitor free. However, if you are local you can place your order online or by phone and we will make arrangements for you to pick your order up. You will not be able to tour either our workshop or our warehouse. Again, this is for the health and safety of our customer's birds. If you are a local customer and will be making arrangements to pick your order up, enter Coupon Code Will Call at checkout, and you will not be charged shipping.
